So, in the comic, Frenchie explains his origin story to Wee Hughie in French. Which Hughie does not speak.
It still amazes me that Sephiroth has such a huge fan base. I realize that he’s very pretty, but Cloud is the brooding broodmaster of broodifully brooding. I mean, Cloud basically makes Marvel’s Uncanny Angst-Men (X-men) look like boring choirboys.
One of the things that amazes me is that in June, there was a BLM event in Vidor, Texas.
The “little” cemetery - the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris - well, it’s a big deal to the US Marine Corps. The Battle at Belleau Wood was one of those WW1 meatgrinders - this Battle lasted three weeks. The German army had sent 50 Divisions to try to finish the war before the bulk of the Americans arrived.

I live in Corpus Christi.
I’m a Texan, and I see more open faces than masks*, but the places where we’ve had to go, well, it’s hit and miss. One place had literally everyone masked and bagged (they even put cell phones in bags). The supermarket, not so much. The gas stations I’ve used are about 1 person in 4 with masks.
I think you’re overestimating the purchase that Nazi values had in the US.
