Well done.

Oh the Wechsler, no, that’s a pretty good test. Working memory for the Wechsler includes things like arithmetic, and the ‘digit span’ (how many numbers can you remember from a list after one viewing), which had just started to be a thing when I left the field.

FINALLY.

It’s a private school. It may be a private school as in stay on campus in dorms private school, which means 1 year of tuition may equal a few years at a public 4 year university.

Oh don’t worry, he’s funnier than me too, so you’re in good company.

Well, he’s funnier than you, and that’s nice to read about.

I’m sorry man, but the brain is not a computer. It is not anywhere near as discrete (in that it has separate sections that do separate things) as a computer. There are regions that tend to do things but those regions can vary from individual to individual.

Well, I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir, but test scores matter to some more than others.

Well, 30 points is two standard deviations on a standard IQ test, so yep, statistically significant in this case.  I seem to remember that most people considered a couple of tests and averaged them for a functional IQ score.

At that point in time, it was assumed that women with ADHD were under identified given the disproportionate behavior in schools. (“Boys act out more when bored, and so get identified more” was the logic behind this.)

I got my MAEd in Special Ed with ADHD as the focus point. Part of the ADD/ADHD diagnosis is comparing where you should be at academically, given age and IQ, and where you are actually at, and whether the difference is STATISTICALLY significant.

There weren’t when I was working on my master’s degree 20 odd years ago.

Look, Hamilton. Can I call you Ham? Okay Cool.

To be fair, the number of strikes would also depend on how nice Master Ephraim was feeling or what he had to work with.

I hit the first bit:

Nick Nolte does a pretty good Trump in Ang Lee’s Hulk:

Doesn’t McDonalds have an award for most industrious employee? She seems like she’d qualify.

Okay, those Banneker watches are pretty cool.

It depends on whether or not she’s a contractor vs. a regular employee.

Given how she pushes school vouchers, she is a clear and present danger to public school.
