Actually, I would suggest reading the a volume of the manga and then thinking back on it. In your memory it will likely play out like animation. My mind rarely plays back any sort of memory as a still image. This makes anything in manga seem to me anime in my memory. I suggest at least trying it out.

I wish The Boy with the Thorn in his Side was this instead.

He actually gets the Dragonslayer three or four days after the eclipse. He sleeps for like three days, goes on a field trip with Skull Knight that night, returns the next day, gets the Dragonslayer, and heads out.

Checking on Solidus, it appears that he lost the opposite eye of this guy. Big Boss did lose that eye however which could make it likely that it is him. Unless it is Solid and he only lost his eye after MGS4. That could be possible.

My favorite track all year. Really loved Xenoblade and the soundtrack was a big part of that. Satorl Marsh- Night from Xenoblade was also really good.

Haha, I don't think they would do that. One Piece is very much an uplifting manga! I couldn't see them pulling something like that on everyone! Fair enough. I think if you kept with it you might enjoy it though. I think it gets much better the farther you go. It doesn't lose quality, it always gains.

Hmm, what is it you don't like about the story? I like the funny interactions between characters, the overarching story of the world which doesn't get started until later than where you ended, the serious stories that Oda often tells, and the cool fight scenes.
