It amazes me to no end when glitches and things like this are discovered in old games so many years later. Rather than it feeling like something broken, it feels like an unknown feature finally revealed.

I would think the same but woudn't that mean that sales would level off instead of slide? I suppose it isn't really easy to tell yet and next year will be a better indication of if fans are simply not buying any longer.
Man how awesome would it be if there was an arcade renaissance?
Damn, I should have gotten in on some of this cash when I was a kid. I was building a full size Gundam in my garage out of random crap but always kept the garage door closed. If I would have just opened it I would have had a documentary and the cash to make a Gundam.
I actually am looking forward to this quite a bit. I'm a fan of snowy environments and they aren't explored in games often enough. I hope everything pans out for this game as I enjoyed the original quite a bit.
Kellogg! I will smack you!
Ugly? Man this show has such an interesting visual style! It is much more interesting to look at than the regular stuff you see now. It reminds me a lot of a Ghibli movie in that their style is different and always fun to look at. The Lupin art is edgy and fits the tone of the show perfectly.
I never said the game looks like crap. As a matter of fact I told him that it was just alpha graphics. Not making detailed graphics doesn't amount to the graphics being bad. There are a ton of simple art styles (Minecraft) that simply work with the overall design and aesthetics of the game.
So you just feel that they make the games look that way visually because they don't care to make detailed graphics? I'm certain with all the money Notch and Mojang has made (he split 3 million dollars among the team as a treat to them recently) that they could hire a fantastic artist. There must be more to it than…
Man what are you talking about? You think these are assets for the final game? These are images he has posted to Twitter to show his progress on shadows, lighting, and geometry. This is just basic stuff that he has put together over the past couple of weeks.
That could be true but I think many people have gotten past the visuals mattering over gameplay. Minecraft is a great case of that. The core mechanics are what turned people on to the game and the graphics weren't really a priority.
I feel like their casual games have been panned more than their core games have tho. Certainly Homefront wasn't great and the WWE games aren't, but Homefront sold alright and WWE always sells well. Compared to things like the UDraw Tablet and Spongebob Squigglepants, they sold quite a lot.
I think it amounts to simpler graphics, more sales. If you don't have a computer that can run the game you can't buy it. Make it simple and tons of people can get it.
I have to wonder, why doesn't THQ focus on making games with the same quality as this or Saints Row 3? They have all these financial troubles but have released so many lower quality games in the past year alone that the reason they have trouble is obvious.
Yup. I want the Legion, Garrus, Collector, Wrex, and Tali ones. I would honestly buy them all.
Yeah I agree. I didn't know hardly any of that stuff at that age or now. That is why a Legion version would be fantastic! He would have such dry humor toward all the adults failing that it would be fantastic!
Oh god. Please someone make that video now!
That would be really cool! I only delved into Xenosaga lightly but I would love to play them all. Sadly those sort of games don't seem to fit the PS2 Classics stuff. I think there is a good chance we could see a lot more PS2 games for download like those next generation tho!
I think the same can be said for each of the consoles this generation. There just aren't a ton of standouts.
Yes!!! I love expanding my beautiful PS3 classic RPG library.
