I think Putin really wants our American oil industry to suffer (or die) and is willing to take the shorter term hit. It takes time and a lot of money to restart the industry if we shut it down here in the states.

It’s simply an observation. It’s likely directly correlated to ageism in the American workplace. Of any place to portray yourself as younger LinkedIn makes the most sense.
