Britney’s situation is just sad. It’d be one thing if it had imploded and she disappeared. But the continued saga and her remaining in the spotlight as a basically adult-child-star is hard to watch. Even when she is seemingly doing good it still feels like I’m witnessing something I (we) shouldn’t be watching.

I think it would actually be of great benefit to society if some of Fox News primetime was now dedicated to reality TV. One less hour of assholes spouting bullshit to gullible people would be a good thing.

Do they last longer than an alternator? Is it twice as expensive to repair/replace?

The motor is equipped with twin-scroll turbocharger and a 48-volt “belt-integrated starter motor,” also known in the industry as a belt starter generator or motor generator unit. It’s basically just a motor and generator that replaces the alternator on the accessory drive.
