The county shut the whole thing down last night. Issued stop work orders and rescinded their permits.

They will probably sue over it but they won’t be able to get that settled till long after Halloween.

If I can eat a ripe avocado in January in Minnesota they can definitely get a ripe tomato in (insert-Midwestern-state-here).

I think the owner’s views stem from this “incident” from September. Basically the guy succumbed to some viral Facebook/Twitter bullshit about “gangs” of young Somali men “terrorizing” Halloween event goers at our local theme park (which is about 20 minutes from where his pumpkin scream town thing is). Even googling…

I’m not saying you’re wrong but we do have a very large Somali diaspora here (here being the Twin Cities (Chaska is part of the metro area) but also greater MN to a lesser extent). I’m fairly confident I could tell if someone was of East African descent (as opposed to African American or West African) but…

But the other side of that coin is that the middle of the country has a plentiful supply of high quality beef.

it’s not THAT far.... and eating in a Culver’s isn’t bad, on the whole they’re above and away the nicest and cleanest fast food restaurants in the country.  I’ve never been inside a Culver’s that felt like it needed to be cleaned or even mopped for that matter.
