I get where you’re coming from, but when it comes to Live Action you have to consider more than just voice. They may not fit the physical look for what they are going for which sucks, but it is what it is. Meanwhile it seems like the final animated design for Maui was pretty specifically catered toward The Rock.

It probably is that good by this point. There’s a lot of good tech in mocap and lip sync nowadays so it’s probably not that big of a lift to animate it with dummy movements, get data from the recordings, programmatically update the mouth rig, then have artists tweak it afterwards.

Same thing for the question “will improved GPU and CPU power make games run better?”

My personal reactions (others may think differently and I’m all for if people are more excited for some of these than I am):

Well some of that is correct. Money exists because having a central currency system that everyone agrees to use makes a billion times more sense than using a barter system or a currency tied to a finite and hoardable resource, which is why no country still uses a “gold standard” afaik.

I know there’s a lot of rules and tricks you can take advantage of depending on where you file so something might apply there.

Considering how cheap NVMe storage is getting and that console makers can get them at huge discounts over consumers by buying in bulk, anything less than 3 TB on the next gen consoles is unacceptable imo.

Fuck it, give me a Pip Boy already.

This seems like an easy problem to solve, at least conceptually from a dev standpoint. If there was an option to do an individual mission type not tied to a campaign, it would be easy to separate out grinders from people playing the campaign normally.

After Palworld, Pokémon Needs To Come Out Swinging”

Of the few times I tried to get into MGS, one of them was MGS4. It had a lot of the same things I disliked from trying MGS 1 and 2, namely wonky, unintuitive controls (though 4 was a lot better in that regard).

I 100% believe that a lot of celebrities play video games in their down time, you have to be like 75 or older to not have had video games be around in some form during your teens/young adult years. Plus it’s an easy hobby to pick up and put down quickly and I assume most celebrities just get their stuff carted around

I personally don’t give a shit about killing Blu-ray or competing with it or whatever, but I get where you’re coming from. I’m all about “box sets” being comprised of single discs.

Yeah even super cheap, shitty fireworks have had water resistant fuses for at least the 30 years I’ve been alive*. If it was soaked for a long time it might not light but generally speaking if it lights at all it will still explode if chucked in water. Those types of fuses were developed almost 200 years ago, and

I dunno, considering the release hype cycle nowadays I actually feel very confident that if we don’t currently know about a game’s release in the latter half of the year by this point, then the only thing we'll get is whatever gets delayed from their currently planned summer release.

So, auto afficionados in the comments, can you answer something for me? How expensive/feasible would it have been for Tesla to give each Cybertruck a clearcoat finish that keeps the stainless steel look but protects from the elements?

Yeah it makes a vegan thing no longer vegan. However it could theoretically lower the number of animals being slaughtered for food, by reducing the actual pieces of beef from recipes and presumably you can get the cells needed for this without killing cows. The fish gelatin is a potential issue but there are plant

Beans suck though. Rice and beef both taste good.

Oh man, the certified Gamers™️ are gonna be mad about this. A playable woman, in their game? And on top of that, she’s black? And there’s a whole section of the game teaching about the history of black baseball players (or as they will label it as: “teaching woke CRT propaganda”)?

I don’t read comics because for some reason they give me headaches, so my only real exposure to the FF has been the middling to bad Fox movies so far.
