Coming in the new year: “Introducing the Rocket League Auto Market! Here you will be able to put your spare cosmetics and items up for sale and earn real money! This of course also means you can use real money to buy direct items rather than through random chance!

Between the end of the Calamity and the events of TotK that device had a whole story arc about resisting the collective desire to evaporate because it had found a new purpose in life: to be a hat.

I mean, fine I guess? It isn’t something that bothered me. But the explanation kinda screams “cop out excuse” lol.

We really do need to redefine what a company’s obligation is to their shareholders. Realistically their obligation should defined as to deliver profits to their shareholders that are reasonably close to the profits of the previous fiscal year or quarter or what have you.

I don’t mean to be rude but that statement is kind of silly, to the point I’m unsure if it is a joke or not. But in case it is a serious comment:

Well I would say it depends on the jobs of those they laid off but even then... Not really imo. The cost to professionally translate a document is like $20 per page, and much less if you do it regularly so you get some kind of contract for a set rate. And that includes quality checks and ensuring the client is happy

Well this is why both the OP of this comment and why I asked in a separate chain, just how big of a role is the character in the game lol. Now it’s weird because of the inconsistent answers.

From what I have heard it is typically about 2-3 hours of recording for every 1 hour of dialog. So based on that and the scope of her character's role it is not a lot of money at all for how much she would have worked.

I agree that important characters don’t only get 5 lines of dialog, but if being a regular Kotaku/Gizmodo reader has taught me anything, relying on the author of a post’s opinion as fact or direct indicator is not exactly foolproof lol.

Is anyone able to provide additional context for me since I didn’t play the game? How major of a character did she play and did they have a lot of screentime and lines?

Although if we are making it an argument of intent, do said animals have intent “to make art” or even to “create” in general? Or is their activity nothing more than amusement, thinking it’s some kind of game?

I’m not trying to be mean here, I’m being 100% genuine. If you are not currently seeing a therapist it would be a good idea to try and find one.

Ah, I did misplace my hyphens lol. Rees-ez is how I normally pronounce it, but some people do pronounce it Rees-eez. But on that note I have heard both of the original pronounciations I gave, which is why they were in my head to begin with.

Yeah that’s an unfortunate inevitable truth lol. The “correct” pronunciation of Tidus is way more controversial than Cait Sith or Aeris/Aerith or anything else imo.

Wow, I never expected the “anime that just won’t fucking end already” could somehow be so drawn out that it could infect the source material with that same quality lol.

“Why add the h in Sihth? It’s just unnecessary.”

Yeah they absolutely did it for that reason, since “I” has ih (Sith), eye (Idea), and ee (pizza) pronunciations. You need to really hammer pronunciations home, some people pronounce “Reece’s” as “Ree-seez” even though they pronounce it “Ree-says” in commercials and the name has an apostrophe because they were created

That's good to know, thanks.

I know the overall strength will be less due to the smaller pieces as you had mentioned, but how well do individual pieces connect to each other? That’s been my biggest problem with Lego knockoffs in the past.

It’s more a matter of security, keeping your personal and work computers separate. Doing personal use stuff on your work PC is much more likely to compromise it than only using your work PC for work stuff. With modern antivirus software it’s a still a rather slim chance unless you go way out of your way to get it
