It just seems... Unnecessary. The only two things they use to drag the One is that it had bad marketing at the beginning of the generation (which they course corrected on pretty damn fast), and because it maybe sounded like it struggles to play games that came out at the end of the life cycle, which always happens as

I mean, also it was fucking boring. One person able to become a Titan = Cool. 2 people = Cool and Intriguing. Ooh a mystery.

Yet another policy built in the name of “Family Friendliness” weaponized to harm communities that are already harassed, threatened, and attacked daily just for existing.

I would dispute that slightly, only in that manually pressing a button at a certain rate alone is more challenging, and that the constant motion of making those inputs could affect accuracy of other inputs compared to holding a turbo button.

Funny. I want my games to be... Good. Length and amount of content have very little to do with that

Yeah if I wasn't working this morning I would be opening those in photoshop and removing the watermarks, then posting them to Konami and Castlevania groups/forums. Just to fuck with them.

Yeah that's kinda a weird attempt at a hot take, considering there's a half dozen different PC game stores I can think of off the top of my head. Steam just happens to be the oldest one and has more games than the rest.

I mean does it though? Sounds like Itoi hasn't really done much in a long time. Or at least nothing really known to the public.

I mean, yes and no. There’s also their concern about slippery slope in which the union is powerful enough to take advantage of them.

I’m not outright opposed to live action adaptations, but Mega Man would work so much better as an animated movie or series, similar to the Netflix Castlevania series.

I doubt it, as that’s an easy answer. It costs time, money, and space the more SKUs you are releasing, even if every PS5 you release is default white and you just include the colored plates in the box.

That’s idiotic. Nobody is saying that, people are saying Tesla could make the tiniest smidgen of effort to restrict access to the distractions that THEY ARE PROMOTING AND GIVING TO THE DRIVER.

Probably referring to many places that aren't Gizmodo.

It may have, but speedrunners will occasionally run specific versions of games that are not the latest version, or have separate categories for specific versions.

I get what you are going for, but look at how many journalists live in the US and constantly get things about US culture/history wrong. Just living somewhere doesn't make you an expert on the local culture.

It’s really silly that it isn’t simplified more. It should be like this:

People say this all the time but it has never negatively affected other publishers like Sega who haven’t gone after creations DIRECTLY using the names of their IPs (mainly Sonic).

People say this shit every time like news outlets (or focused blogs, in this case) are just supposed to not post about things that are of interest to their readers, or that this wouldn't get Nintendo's attention despite the fact the creators of the project are the ones working hard to promote it.

Vice City on Switch likely had an issue with the 1.03 version so they had to release a 1.04 right away.

Or, maybe lots of people enjoy finding ways to break games and play them in unintended ways. Some people may even enjoy doing both and may both do this and play the game in the intended manner a different time or on a different profile.
