Or they could mean that it isn’t worth upgrading over Fortnite because they have already said they will still support the old platforms, so buying a whole new console for the same f2p game they already have, only slightly prettier isn't worth it to them. 

Exactly. I love Splinter Cell, but I’m terrified that the next game in the series will be yet another open world game with randomized loot items, leveled enemies with health bars, and stealth mechanics shoved into one tiny branch of a huge RPG skill tree. 

That does lend a little bit of hope.

I’m in the same camp. The modern part of the story was AS interesting as the historical stuff for me, at least until they jumped the shark and really leaned into the gods and aliens bullshit. Now the games are just generic historical fantasy games, which is par for the course in Ubisoft's attempts to make their games…

Knowing Activision (and literally testing Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, because I was working in their Eden Prairie MN office during 2011-2012), I have about as much confidence in them as I do in Gamestop lasting another 2 years.

Is it really too much to ask for that a developer/publisher that has been making RPGs for nearly THIRTY YEARS be able to deliver both an interesting world and interesting characters?

I have no doubt that this is a ripoff, but the examples other than the first one don’t seem to lend much evidence to it. The characters look fairly different except for the brown haired girl(?) with the sword. The ripoff designs *do* look very "generic anime" though, and the others have a lot more detail. 

I looked at the website and it is weird because to me personally almost all the designs just... Suck. I mean to each their own I guess but I wouldn’t buy any of these shirts if they were on clearance at Walmart, I’m definitely not going to be crammed into a line waiting for them.

World of FF is a pretty damn good game. I now regret trading it in, I kinda wanted to 100% it.

Yeah weird, it is almost like the Remake isn't a 1:1 copy of the original game and everyone has already known that for months now or something.

I think they meant easy to bypass, not manipulate. But I'm not sure because they talk about manipulating other algorithms then talk about just bypassing the filter using euphemisms.
