Technically the most recent would be the 2011 game, but it is a reboot of the first three games so I don’t know if you want to count it. You are correct about there being *a* tournament in DA, but it isn’t explicitly stated to be an official Mortal Kombat tournament afaik. It might just be a normal tournament within

I mean this isn’t anything new really, just new for Blizzard with WC3. Afaik, Bethesda does the same thing with mods for TES and FO (and have since at least Morrowind), and other studios do it if they have games that allow custom, player made content.

I'm confused, the post references Hazy Maze Cave but the video and other descriptions reference Shifting Sands.

Normally I would agree, but considering they advertised it as being more than just a graphical upgrade, showed off stuff that was more than a graphical upgrade, and then didn't actually deliver on that stuff, I think criticism is warranted here.

Your comment contains more “gamer outrage” than the article does, you are just directing it at people who (correctly) think Blizzard didn’t deliver what they promised with no explanation as to why.

“Look at these assholes, clogging up traffic in their dumb costumes.”

That was kind of my point though, although it also admittedly is not a 1:1 comparison. If you buy the Blu-ray it is for unlimited viewing, until you accidentally ruin the disc or it degrades over time. This was mostly true for games as well until very recently, which is the point I was trying to illustrate.I guess we

Eh I still don’t think that is a 1:1 comparison. A movie ticket is like a McDonald’s in that it is a 1 time purchase for a single thing in return, whether it be a meal or the ability to see a specific film 1 time.

But isn’t teaming against the original spirit of Battle Royale, as the gamemode ends when only one person is left?

I know there has been a discrepancy between Kotaku’s opinions (mostly negative) and the user opinions (mixed, leaning positive). But the one thing people seemed to agree on is that most of the side quests sucked. So based on that, why would you want to go back for side quests, other than for 100% completion?

I stopped playing WoW long before they offered level boosting, but I get it. Leveling up a new character, especially one that is a new race or a class you haven’t played before, removes a bit of the impact of learning about the character.

I definitely think going MMO on a scale of like WoW where there thousands of people on a single server at once is a bad idea, but if there were like 200 players per server it wouldn't be so bad. Just enough to make the world not seem so stagnant and empty like you see in a lot of Pokémon games.

I think that is fine though. The response to that is quite simple: “It’s disappointing that players would rather spoil something cool we made for them, but we’re going to keep pushing out new content.”

That is what I was thinking. “Destiny does something that could be cool in theory, but executes it poorly and makes it less interesting” is the summary of most of the articles I see about the game.

Yeah I'd be interested in hearing the definition they have for it, because as I read it it sounds like it means partially in both groups, when nonbinary specifically exists for people that don't fit in the binary group. I know gender fluidity is a thing, but that would also be nonbinary if I understand it correctly.

Deminonbinary doesn’t make any sense though. You can’t half be in a group that comprises anything that isn’t male/female. If I understand the terms correctly (which I might not, I haven’t always been able to fully understand the whole span of the culture this is a part of) Binary is male and female, and anything that

So what you are saying is buy a cheap Xbox One after the new Xbox drops, because it will be like 3-4 years until there will be enough next gen exclusives to warrant buying a new console (if ever, depending on if they keep up their trend of releasing games on Windows as well)

Iirc from the last time they did this, they replaced a video file for a pre-rendered cutscene with a different video file that was just the crash screen and then the opening from Skyrim.

Am I losing my mind or something? Because I could have sworn BloodThunder did this already at a previous GDQ event and the person who ran F04 and explained a bug using some junk items that you ran an article on the other day did that in a previous GDQ as well.
