I don't like DF at all really but Stonehearth is a neat lite alternative. Which is probably exactly why I like it, because it covers the core gameplay without getting overwhelmed by minutiae and micromanagement.

It seems like it is just too much to manage well for any single person. It would probably be a fantastic cooperative game if you had reliable people and each person had designated tasks like one person designated for resource gathering and management, one to manage militia, one for building and expansion.
I wouldn’t say it has across the board. Rafi seems level headed most of the time at least. But it seems like it went from 95% of the writers being coherent, insightful, and thought provoking 95% of the time to basically the exact opposite.
If they can’t fix this issue by the time they want to call it quits on working in this game the last content update should be finding out that the entirety of the game was a virtual reality simulation like Tranquility Lane from FO3 to prepare vault dwellers how to survive when the vault opens for real. That would be…
Yeah he reminds me of movie Sonic. It is creepy and wrong.
Originally she was giving all audience members a VW Beetle iirc. Someone just saw the clip and thought "Why not bees?"
Okay but if they do I’m jumping in after them. Once the dust settles and the shooting stops those deserve a spot in a museum about the lowest point in modern US history (or potentially all US history, we’ll see how bad it gets).
I mean that is cool and all, but give me GitS:SAC and 2nd Gig
Which, considering this is the game where Ganon’s basically already won at the very beginning and the only thing holding him back is Zelda keeping him in a never ending battle, kind of makes sense. I can dig it.
So it is basically the exact same thing as Pokemon Go, except HP themed and no collecting of creatures?
Why would they bust their balls to please a miniscule fraction of their user base?
Why is it legal to attach unrelated bills together again? I understand that that it can be a tool that both sides can use to sweeten the pot and get something they want passed, but it seems wrong to be able to extort/buy bill support.
I find it weird that people get so concerned about what other people see them enjoying. I love tons of media that I know isn’t “good”. And I don’t ironically like it either, my feelings are genuine.
The fastest way to fix that feeling is to play it. You won't want to for long.
What if you change the rules too? Make a court of 20 people that must be evenly split between Democrat and Republican. Then for each case that is heard, a random panel of 5 is chosen that must contain 2 people from each group. 5th person will have a 50/50 shot of being one party or another.
Well to be fair I'm sure the game is dead or dying very soon either way so it probably won't matter. This might be a last ditch attempt to market it as something new in hopes of reanimating the game's small player base (pun intended).
Funnily enough, the main differences between a romantic movie (romcom or otherwise), and a thriller movie about an unhealthy relationship are basically just different lighting and sound design. If you look at most romance movies objectively they are super creepy.
Didn’t she also quote and agree with someone specifically saying she was being anti-semitic before realizing what the person had said and then deleted her tweet? I thought that was in the original post Splinter made about the ordeal.
“Why did this need to be written? This post is exactly what Ann Coulter wants. She gets attention, she’s generated another outraged post... she’s owned the libs”
Easy solution: Put rules, add a clause that says “In addition to these rules, Steam may remove games from the storefront for any reason at any time, at our own discretion. However this *usually* will not happen unless it appears that the intent of the game is to push the edge of many of the rules we have in place…
