Yeah I would love to see an OW campaign that gives you a real story and has you play through the campaign taking the role of different heroes. I was excited about OW as a concept until I learned it was JUST a competitive shooter. Then I lost interest within about 3 matches during a free to play event.

Well the way I understand Christianity, it goes like this:

Yep. People like him for memes but he's really pointless other than that and so Wario has a partner.

That is precisely the reason I gave BF4 a shot (after the long string of launch issues) then moved on quickly. I don’t have time to wait for the game to become fun, so if part of getting into the game is “just go out and suck for hours until things click” it will be a hard pass for me.

This is just Splinter baiting for clicks and setting up the “The democrats failed on gun control - AGAIN” posts in 6 months, as others have stated.

Political theater includes riling up your base to get from being neutral or disliking the other party to extremeley disliking the other party.

I’d have to agree with them on that. We can all agree that it *shouldn’t* be the case, but it probably is the case right now. Obama was able to do it but that was a decade ago and the landscape was much different back then. There wasn’t nearly as many people openly racist or hinting towards it then as there are now.

I’m probably one of the very few people that would be fine with ads actually within the game world of AAA games, but only if they put them where they made sense and the ad revenue lowered the price of the game. I think it would at least be an interesting concept to see a billboard with a real ad rather than <generic

Yep. The biggest problem I had with NV (and what kept me from getting more than 3 hours in until last year when I beat it) was that until you get to the city itself you need to be prepared to deal with large expanses of orange with very little to do.

Yeah not to mention you often get quite a bit extra when you deploy. Sure it is much more dangerous but even then unless you have specific jobs the odds of you seeing combat is very low.

Hell yeah. I have no need for a handheld system. I don't take public transportation, I'm not waiting around places, and I have plenty of alternative options if someone is using the TV. Plus it could easily be a hundred bucks cheaper without that meh screen and shitty controllers.

You have to remember that this was a debate between the stupidest two writers that Splinter has. It absolutely does not surprise me that they are out of touch with reality, they demonstrate it regularly.

The only actual competitor you listed is GOG, the rest are basically just launchers for their own games. Yeah you can’t get most of their games anywhere else but they don’t want to compete with Steam, they just don’t want to pay Steam when they don’t have to.

I think most people are just surprised HamNo said something remotely intelligent, rather than advocating domestic terrorism.

Besides what Blind Prophet said about this coming a week after promises of more transparency, doesn’t Overwatch have public test servers for basically all major changes? They may not disclose everything but everyone has an opportunity to try it out before it goes live.

Yeah I didn’t even need to do the math, I just remembered that Metroid came out first for the newest fighters (not counting Piranha Plant for same reason you said).

I think it is because we (for the most part) understand that who they were then is not who they are now. Meanwhile if someone flies a confederate flag nowadays there is a decent chance that person still believes the things that the confederate flag stood for during the civil war.

I kind of think it is because this author is one of the more competitive “Final Destination, no items” types of people. No fluff or silliness, just competitive multiplayer forever.

His anger didn’t get the better of him this time or any other time. He’s simply an irrational idiot with the ideas of a rebellious 14 year old and a platform to spout them on.

As someone else said, there isn’t a wingsuit, but the parachute + grapple works well enough thag you don’t really *need* it in JC2. If you need to get across the map really fast for some reason there is almost always a jet to steal.
