I have not. And would you look at that, we have a new winner (loser?). Because that is like non-physical punishment for your eyes.

That is basically my summation of it. Story can be good and has good character development, but holy fuck the art style and animation is hot garbage.
Right about the time when publishers started focusing on competitive high stakes esports tournaments rather than playing casually with friends.
He looks strangely like Severus Snape + Hans Gruber, and *not* in a way that pays tribute to Alan Rickman
I can somewhat agree, I tested for Activision for 3 years. But they just don’t have enough games on the slate in any one year to make it worth hiring a full team of testers for full time. I was typically working on 3 to 5 games at a time aiming for fall/winter release but once those were done there wouldn’t be…
Everyone is going crazy saying “but what about Frosted Mini Wheats?” which I agree with, but I’ll eat unfrosted Mini Wheats too because they have a pleasant flavor without covering them in sugar.
Of course it is good, it has Ted Danson in it.
“But I don’t like it so it’s evil!”
It looks like the devkits.
The second issue is one I have with the genre as a whole. So many of them have puzzles that are seemingly only solved by mashing every possible item against every world object or other item until something works. Not a real example but how it feels sometimes:
I thought Lego were kind of overpriced but 11 bucks for each set seems crazy expensive. Is there something I’m missing (other than people buying it simply because Ghostbusters II of course)?
Unrelated but I love World of FF. It might actually be my favorite FF game of all time. It isn’t all that grindy (except for getting the fucking minigame trophies which are 9o% luck), it is lighthearted, it has a bunch of fun callbacks to other FF games, and it is just cute as hell. The only thing I dislike is how…
Yeah it can be really interesting what different animals react to. My dog and cats will both react to mouse cursors on screens. The cats I understood but the dog surprised me. Then I tried busting out the laser pointer and... Well if you’ve never seen a 120 lb Great Dane pounce on a dot of light repeatedly like a cat,…
Somewhat related, at least on the animals reacting part, my dog *hates* Doki Doki Literature Club. Whenever he notices the characters on screen he will do nothing except growl and bark at them, especially when they move. While hilarious, it is kind of scary because I’ve never heard him act like that to anything else.
Hmm since I don’t play games online and going back to wreck old monsters after they have no real use makes it sound like the series is not for me. Thank you.
I can’t watch this because I am at work atm, and have never played a MH game. I just have one question.
Definitely. I can think of two scenarios when I was a kid that stood out.
Well yeah, that is true of any user created content systems instead of specifically scouting and curating a team of content creators. Hell look at YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, or even comments on posts within the Gizmodo-verse.
Well then allow me to point you to a whole series of games that play and feel like the original God of War games!
Devilman Crybaby was very enjoyable for me. I heard some people complain about a lot cut from the original story but being unfamiliar with it the story felt complete and tight with no unnecessary fluff. And the ending fucked my day up like when I watched End of Evangelion for the first time, although EoE somehow…
