I know this is going to get lost and never seen by anyone who matters but for the love of God Kotaku, when you repost an article after a few months or longer just remake the entire article so we get a new comment section. Randomly getting new replies to comments you posted months ago or trying to have a discussion

Yeah it was likely looking at putting the timer at 4 seconds for your real heart value rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.25. Because 0.125 rounds down to 0 it doesn’t trigger the timer.

I’m 26. What the fuck are you saying?

That wouldn’t make sense if it is Marston’s grave as one is an island and the place where Marston died was part of the country that bordered Mexico iirc. Probably just an easter egg, since to my knowledge Marston had a regular tombstone.

He was probably the necrophiliac grave robber from RDR1 to be honest.

Eh, we were already through Fellowship so I’d rather finish those out. Besides having seen LotR I was getting my itch to rewatch one of my favorites (I have a list of films I rewatch yearly), and I needed to scratch it.

I am ashamed to say that I have yet to see Predator. I will be correcting this soon. First showing LotR to girlfriend, then will watch this.

Interesting. Not my thing but neat. Is the apple game really a phenomenon though? Almost all my peers are seemingly their target audience (20s to late 30s, iPhone users) and I mentioned it after reading an article about it and they were all like “what is that?”

While that is probably a big part of it, the other part is probably whoever made it just said “Who really gives a shit, nobody is probably going to care.” which was largely true until just now. Most people aren’t going to notice, those that do probably don’t care enough to mention it. The discussion likely never would

Agreed entirely. No business is going to say “We make or do X, so how about we do <thing completely unrelated to X that is an entirely different industry>“

Well yeah a true risk and reward system would do that, but that would open up Niantic to a ton of liability if they directly enticed players to be out in hazardous conditions lol.

Well I don’t want this either (more because I don’t wear makeup) but I like the old school GameBoy carts. They could be made into other things like a case for Switch games or something. I would love to find a busted NES and old cartridges and turn them into a hard drive enclosure and HDD cases.

Eh I think it should just influence what can appear. If someone is dumb enough to go out trying to catch Pokemon in a blizzard or thunderstorm then that idiocy is on them. It isn’t like you can’t just catch them from the safety of your house or workplace.

I like things disguised as other things.

Niantic implemented something into Pokemon GO that is half-assed and poorly thought out? Shocking.

I may have just missed this earlier (didn’t notice it until today) but putting functional videos in the article feed on the main page that can start playing when you are scrolling through the page (mobile), trying to find a post you want to read is almost as shitty of a design as Gizmodo‘s ”recent video” thing that

Where you went wrong was thinking that a comparison to Tom Selleck is anything less than glowing praise. I could say someone looks like an emaciated, strung out junkie version of Selleck and it is still a compliment. That’s just how powerful his mustache is.

Sometimes just making it into different shapes or sizes can completely change how good it is. I personally never enjoy elbow pasta and farfalle is hit or miss (hard to hit that sweet spot where the “knot” on the bow tie is soft but the rest hasn’t gotten overcooked), and I prefer egg noogles over rotini even though

I’m not getting into the argument because I don’t give a shit about cryptocurrency one way or the other but just looking at his responses it is pretty much insult anyone who disagrees, praise anyone who agrees. But this is Gawkmodo so hardly anyone is willing to be civil anyways.

I would love to but I can never get enough people. Most of my coworkers wouldn’t be interested and that pretty much just leaves me and my fiance, and not a lot of games work with 2 players, or at least aren’t very fun with only 2.
