It wasn’t mentioned but I would do that with the chain trick. If it isn’t the random encounter you want, reset. If you accidentally KO your target before it can Call or you run out of items, reset. Although I suppose actually finishing the fight would be large XP gains.

I typically played until all the islands are unlocked on older games so you can get the cool stuff but I think GTA is the only series I regularly complete the story on. The only ones I haven’t done from 3 onwards was the DLC for 4.

You’re on a road trip to see yo girl, and while you are gone your kingdom is attacked. That is the entirety of the plot as far as I know just from the trailers. Seems to make enough sense to me.

That doesn’t make any sense at all. First of all, most review sites, including Kotaku are very good about not including spoilers in reviews, especially for story driven games. So the risk of being spoiled is slim. Second, the entire point of a review is to give their impression of the game for people, so they can

I guess I don’t know what the endings are for D2 but I would consider a “bad” ending subjective. It might be a darker ending and it might not end how you want but that doesn’t make it bad, it just means you don’t like it. I suppose you could consider non-canon endings as “bad” endings but that isn’t true for me

Just because one way of playing gives you more stuff or is easier or changes the story doesn’t mean it violates the “play your way” thing they are going for. Different play styles will always have different impacts on the game and difficulty because your actions shape the environment and that is true for any game. A

It is quite simple. Most teenagers are smart, or at least average. But the ones that are dumb are really dumb and really noticeable. The same goes for when people talk negatively about basically any group. The negative ones are more noticeable than everyone else combined.

That is a lot of the reason right there: A lot of older people who get offended by genitals. That may be for numerous reasons, including but not limited to religion, old fashioned morals, or simply growing up in a totally different time period.

I see what you mean. Sure the game will say “point A is being taken” but everyone gets that which means most of the squads (if they actually care about objectives) will rush over there and leave everything else mostly open.

What’s the big deal about buying condoms again? You get a box, check out, put them in a bag, bring them home. You’ll never see the people who saw you buy them again in 99.99% of situations and the cashier certainly doesn’t give a shit about you or what you buy.

Definitely worth it. I never got past the first Wizpig race as a kid, I would love to go back and stomp him into the ground, then unlock TT.

It is interesting to see how much data has been taken from this already. I’m kind of surprised move sets aren’t incorporated into this to tell you the best counter for any Pokemon of any potential moveset (sticking to within say... 5 levels of your opponent).

No the hub world was all available at the start, excluding the lobbies for each zone (you needed certain amounts of balloons to get to each lobby, but they were just simple rooms with level entrances, a boss door, arena door, and trophy room, and were limited to a single vehicle iirc). You could get any of the 3

I agree, I would like to myself but I don’t know if I would. But it is good to support things you are passionate about.

My biggest memory of this was the part where Raiden says “You and your memes.” with a voice of pure disgust. I was surprised it never really became a meme itself.

That is probably the one comment I have never seen on any coverage of hard MM levels lol. Plenty of other nasty BS, but that is the one thing I haven’t seen.

Cool. You’re wrong, but cool.

That isn’t for speedrunning necessarily but for testing the limits of possibilities. Sometimes the only way to see if something is possible is to manufacture a scenario where it does work, and then building backwards from there to find a method of achieving that scenario without modifying the game.

You should probably read that, from what I see everyone on that list is dead and the last one died like 4 years ago. Unless I missed something myself when reading it.

Yeah... Fuck that. If it was a digital game so I wouldn’t have to eventually rebuy the whole damn thing I would be fine with this level of permanence but not when I need to spend money to replace it over time. Sure it doesn’t give you that “board game” feel but that is just quibbles when it comes to if a game is
