Paper seems thin?

Might I suggest you try mine? We make an all-cheese cracker with all the good, very very little of the bad, and it passes the drunk test, the sad test, the gluten test, the sodium test, and virtually every test I've come up with, short of being able to stop a bullet.

Wausome.com is where you can get them, Brent, and

Interesting read. I'm very excited to see this era come about, as long as it does not become yet another way of dividing the haves from the have-nots. The moment highways are closed to non-autonomous driving... well, it will be bad. Some points to ponder...

1. "Speed Limit" is archaic. It should be "Best Speed". More

I went from religiously reading and commenting (I cancelled my PopSci subscription, for God's sake) to being so furious about the sidebar I just stopped reading.

This is welcome, but I'm afraid you lost me to the Verge about 6 months ago. At least I'll be able to scroll around again. Glad to have you

So you recommend hand tools, but link to the power tools? It does not surprise me that the folks at This Old House may not be super tech savvy, but then...this is posted at Gizmodo...

I have the first generation with SSD, and I have to say it's by far the best computer I've ever used. Period. I like the old Dodge Brother's logo too, the one with the Star of David in it. No over symbolism there...noooo.

@mullingitover: Right on, Mulling. I'll go on to say it would be nice if DPReview could afford to review more cameras in general. They are unmatched in technical review, but waaaay lacking in depth.

My desk, one of three I've built into our house. This one uses two old French doors cantilevered to create a workspace that is somewhat self-organizing (total disaster at all times). Not shown is the smaller "palette" monitor I have hanging under the first as an extension of the workspace, visible through the glass.

I first read this as "Intel Sandy Beige Processors Coming..." and thought, AGAIN?!

What's a guy gotta do to get 12 USB2 ports off the front of an iMac already?

ALL I have wanted, for a decade, is a large-screen TV with standard inputs and resolution, with a Mac Mini buried in it. That's it. I'd pay $500 over the same size TV from Sony.

Street lights are a function of keeping power companies at some level of production during the night. They area a war-time convention that needed excess light to show a thriving nation while keeping it's power plants always ready for the immanent attack. They are also the creators of shadows, and the casters of false

You're PAYING for advertisement laden television on a computer? It's as bassackwards as the new media can get! Besides...

Apple makes "capacitive" touch pads, that's what makes the multi-touch work. If you've used one you realize the have in fact replaced the mouse with something better.
