Like others have said, the engine can have issues (IMS, RMS leak etc). The interiors for 996s without the full leather are LAUGHABLY bad. I’ve never driven one, but have been a passenger in an early 996 with GT3 seats on an autocross course...and my god it was sweet!

The problem isn’t that they released the concept too early, the problem is that before their early publication of the car, Honda offered ZERO sports cars in the 2010s, let alone Halo cars. (my fanboyness precludes me from counting any Si after the EP a proper sports car) I’m sure this sort of forced their hand to show
