Yea, right off the bat, the NEDC hits 75mph and the UDDS ‘only’ hits ~60mph. When are the US supplemental tests used? What were the tests that WVU used?
I found the UDDS (http://www3.epa.gov/otaq/standards…) the Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule. Is this what they use for the testing? If so, it wouldn’t be hard to detect that it’s happening and change some engine mapping.
I’ve been trying to find a general summary of the different drive cycles. Do you have a link to the test parameters for the drive cycles?
