Can I see your degree in composites engineering before you keep saying things you have no idea about?

Obviously turbo ‘busa

IMO Porsche started this whole Trim on a Trim thing.. But that’s a higher price point.

Sounds like you and me are in the minority for liking the bug eyes! Idk why people hate on them so much.

They just weren’t readily available here in Phoenix. We only have 2 Triumph dealers and neither had one in stock. Making sure a pillion could ride on the back somewhat comfortably also helped in the decision, thanks for your take on it tho!

I really thought hard about an Rx. Went with a normal R due to having to wait over a month for an Rx to be delivered and not finding enough on the Rx to justify the extra money. Though I wish I had the quickshifter and Daytona tail..

I want the patched version, just really looks good in my eyes for some reason. Just the damn thing won’t stay in stock.

I actually love the bug eyes, gives it a very unique look. No fly screen either.

I was super stoked over you coming to Jalopnik to write about Motorcycles. Keep up the amazing work! If you’re ever in Phoenix and need someone to ride with, I’m your guy!

Sean, your top pick of you from your Street Triple R review reminded me of how many time I read that review from you before buying my Striple R last May. So thank you for helping me in my decision! Wish that Icon jacket was easier to get a hold of!

So I will nominate my home city, Phoenix.

Looks like an 8yr/100K mile warranty on the battery. So says a quick Google.

Sir! It’s pronounced EMPAGAs!

The Striple is best under 60 though. It doesn’t want to be a cruiser.

I still think the Street Triple R has the best suspension currently you can buy in the middle weight naked class. This should be close if not better though with the new electronics. I own a ‘15 Striple R and have riden the last Duke 690.

Motodemic does. 279 bucks. I hate the look of the single headlight, the dual bug eye gives the bike some character IMO. I also own a ‘15 Striple R and love my ugly headlights.

Sv’s are V-twins... Triple is well..

That tail light... Just ugh. Nice bike overall. Still love my Street Triple R way too much.

What’s wrong with the bar ends? Everyone swaps to them anyways.. The ant antenna are finally dead, that’s awesome. These look like they offer a good amount of rear visibility.

Insane in the membrane!! -Street Triple Owner
