Pretty much. Although, I'm also noticing a lot of claims in this thread that they would support the cop even if their kid behaved that way. I don't buy it though. Every time some suburban white kid does something wrong, their right wing "personal responsibility" preaching parents do all they can to cover up or deny it.

I love how white men that claim to live in fear of ‘government tyranny’ and believe that it is righteous to rebel against it are the first ones to insist that all black people should strictly obey every police officer like a submissive dog.

Imagine if an African American security officer did this to a white high school student.

Imagine a cop did this to your kid. In fact, imagine anyone did this to your kid.

All games are for all people.

It’s more than that; pretty much every system or internal design that does not have to do with direct gameplay has been really confusing, intuitive, and/or not the best option.

I wasn’t expecting any sort of specificity cos I know that can affect a job, but the examples you gave were pretty on point with what I’ve read online.

The person you’re talking to always jumps out and crusades against fair use in these stories. Trolling or just evil, it’s hard to say.

320+, hard mode emblem and hair-trigger condescension required. Message me with light level. No malice= kicked.

Without getting too specific for respect for my job, but the truth is many (not all) Japanese companies don’t really “get” the West. At all. They feign an understanding, and do their typical formal “yes yes yes” but then when actions need to happen they feign misunderstanding and drop everything in the West for sake

You can’t say you have STORIES, and not tell any!

Well, let’s hear some of ‘em...

Nintendo really needs to get back on the ball with their core franchises that don’t rhyme with Bario. Link Between Worlds gave me some serious hope, but everything since then has been massively disappointing, and the Metroid showing recently has me really considering the possibility that they’ve lost it in terms of

YouTube’s copyright system is designed to screw over content creators on a whim.

Welcome to Japanese gaming companies. They don’t get it. I have STORIES. So frustrating.

I think we should all agree that while Nintendo is great at immediate gameplay design (levels, puzzles, platforming, etc) they’ve been woefully terrible at the greater gameplay design (Friends, co-op management, what happens when your connection shits the bed, etc) since they finished up Galaxy 2.

How can Nintendo get online so wrong on their own console when fuckers like Capcom (Monster Hunter) can get it so right? And I don’t know who decided you can play with 1 or 3, but not 2 players, but fire that person out of a cannon!

Again, its not the tactic I have a problem with. I have a problem with how competitive RTS seems so robotic to me.

I love RTS games, but stuff like this is why I hate competitive RTS gaming. Not the tactic itself, but the way the game is turned into something that doesn’t seem even remotely game-like to me.
