As usual with this topic, I’m sure you’re not actually interested in the truth, or else you wouldn’t be misrepresenting things so badly in the first place, but I’ll put it here in case you or someone else wants it.

I mean, the issue with that is that there was kind of a point (where there wasn’t so much in say 2008 and earlier) - a lot of Japanese game design was particularly stale around then, just like a lot of US game design was super-stale around 2006. But stuff like Demon’s Souls, Dogma and so on really started to change…

Honestly, I don’t mind him. Dude does a lot of charity, and he really knows his craft. He’s not demanding people help, he’s just asking and it’s up to them.
