They took the only Black character and the only Asian character and put them from as far as possible from the main plot. That storyline goes nowhere; you could remove it from the movie, and nothing integral is lost to the movie.

This was my take away too when I read their notes on why they were nerfing Cooldown Reduction. They claimed it was because they felt the players saw it as mandatory. Considering the fish barely moves away from two different buttons, it’s crazy how those input delays are hitting several different buttons the Fish didn’t hit at just the right time.
