The Soulsborne games are a fantastic franchise of games that are absolutely ruined by the boss fights. Do not mistake disdain for inability.

And you would be incredibly incorrect.
You know what they say. There’s always a kernel of truth in every fictional story.
Coward is a bit strong. When you grow up in that kind of environment you fantasize a lot, but when you actually come face to face with one of your fantasies, you freeze because you realize you have no idea what to do. That doesn’t make you a coward, it just means you’re inexperienced.
You’re thinking of his brother Raiden.
If the setting were based ON or based IN Japan, you would have a point. But it’s not. It based on a society that was somewhat racially diverse, moreso than people realize.
Yeah, but let’s be honest. It’s a Final Fantasy game, and that place setting is only going to last for about 6 hours. The protagonist and their party will quickly find themselves in the outside world with a plethora of trans-continental and trans-oceanic transportation options
I’ve already seen a highly upvoted comment with awards attached to it calling this statement a “breath of fresh air”. That should tell you all you need to know how people are spinning this.
I had an epiphany earlier this year. There is not a single game that has had a boss fight I’ve liked. Not one. Boss fights only serve to kill momentum. Contrary to popular belief, they don’t actually test what you’ve learned up to that point. They’re almost always just a test of how fast you can not get hit by…
Same. Him and Tom Hanks.
Everyone has bad days, considering the mountain of positivity, I’d like to think those people caught Al on a bad day.
Apparently the only realistic thing Al cared about was how Daniel played the accordion.
I knew this. I honestly think this is a generational thing. If you’re under let’s say, 37 you probably wouldn’t know this trick.
This trick used to be in the old Tip ‘n Tricks books you could buy from the Scholastic Book pamphlet schools would get once a month back in the late 80's early 90's.
IKR! Donna and Jodi were some of the best things to come from Supernatural.
I find it baffling The Winchesters was given a full season order when the network refused to pick up Wayward Sisters which was the superior spin off idea.
I agree. When I think of Felicity, the first thing to come to mind is that giant drag out fight between she and Oliver because he didn’t tell her he had a kid. A kid he only JUST found out about and was still trying to process the existence of, but she found a way to make that about her.
I don’t know if I would say Javica “quickly found her stride”. I feel like she didn’t hit it until the 3rd season when they could finally tell a story ABOUT her rather than having an entire season dedicated to Kate Kane.
It already HAS become the wild west of n-word usage. This isn’t some imagined hypothetical, it’s happening right now.
Shouldn’t you be busy spamming the N-word over and over? And then crying when you lose your job because your boss doesn’t want an open racist representing their company?
