You’re correct, Jeep is doing better than they have in their entire history. The problem is that Jeep is what props up the entire FCA house of cards. (An argument could be made that Ram is reasonably healthy.)
Character and personality is not what I discerned in my experiences with them... more like squeaks and rattles, sloppy transmissions, unwilling engines, and poor build quality.
