Untrue. IE10 and IE11 are perfectly fast, and even best FireFox and Chrome in some benchmarks. I have no idea why you think YouTube sucks on IE10 or 11 ... I use it all the time and it works just fine. If anyone is to blame there, it's probably Google for just screwing with IE users (as they are KNOWN to do).

How is "Far Cry 4" not in this list?!?

No, from what I understand it's just the fact that the Apple implementation on iOS 8 seriously sucks. Try it on Windows Phone 8, and you'll change your tune... it's completely unintrusive and unannoying... and amazingly useful and helpful. And it learns to, so while it won't do curse words initially, if you use them

Just bought an Xbox one. Waited a year to see how it'd all shake out. And the answer for me was the Xbox One. Voice commands, a faster rate of improvement, and the forthcoming integration with Windows 10 (which will give me a phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, and gaming console all running the same OS, all

Sure you can "see more" with an OMNICIENT view... but that takes you out of it, because you're a "god" manipulating a "puppet". It's so much easier to get lost in the game when it's actually YOU in there, seeing things from YOUR perspective. I don't get your harping on peripheral vision... that's just so NOT EVER

You can't see when your damn character is BLOCKING YOUR VIEW because the camera is right behind him... which happens CONSTANTLY in the few 3rd person games I've played (most guilty was Batman Arkham Asylum). Duh.

Just going to have to disagree with nearly everything you said. In Batman, I was constantly frustrated with my "character" completely blocking my view of where I was supposed to be going or what I was trying to fight. It was VERY obnoxious. Never mind that it allows you to cheat because YOU can see around corners

I can't stand 3rd person games.... I can't imagine how anyone can prefer them. You can't see where you're aiming! It's a bitch to control the camera! What good does it do you to always just stare at the back of your character's head? Ugh. Such a waste. I don't get it.

Ditto here. Nothing interests me less than multiplayer-only PvP games.

"Party Chat" has been on the Xbox forever. And you're the only person I've heard of with quality issues on the Xbox One, so stop pretending it's endemic rather than you just being unlucky. I'm laughing and pointing at YOU. Whatever. You're an idiot spewing nonsense and complete crap. And it only took you four

Couldn't you always do this with voice-commands though? (I don't know, I don't have an Xbox One yet, but am getting one — with Kinect, thank you very much — this holiday season)

On the iPhone maybe. Check it out on Windows Phone 8.1 ... it definitely does not take up too much space, it offers more (and better) predictive suggestions, and is not at all distracting (very easy to ignore if you don't care).

Well... we know what you type a lot about :-)

That's not it. The implementation is just that much better on Windows Phone, apparently.

That. Was. Awesome.

Apparently... reading other people's impressions is kind of shocking to me. The WP8 implementation rocks, and I love it. While I could easily live without it, I can't imagine WANTING to. :-)

If it slows you down, you're either doing it wrong, or the implementation is really bad on iOS. It makes me at least twice as fast on Windows Phone. The WP8 keyboard is awesome.

None of that seems to be an issue on the Windows Phone 8.x implementation. It "just works" and is incredibly useful.

It really is amazingly well done. I've consistently been pleasantly surprised.

How in the hell is the predictive text an 'annoyance'? It helps eliminate auto-correct fails for one thing. And it's one of my favorite features of the keyboard on Windows Phone. I left iOS two years ago for a Nokia Lumia 920, and one of the biggest reliefs I experienced was how much better the keyboard was, and
