Not bullshit. It's ABSOLUTELY TRUE one party shoulders far ore of the blame for the predicaments (plural) we're in. Saying "they're both fucked up" ignores the fact that one party is vastly more fucked up to the point of being batshit insane, while the other is only a little fucked up here and there. Perhaps you're

BL1 is straight up shooter and looter (like a first person Diablo 2) with some sick and twisted comedy thrown in. The game actually kinda takes forever to get going, has a huge let-down in the final act (the ending sucks), but then the DLC are all better than the game, and BL2 is pretty awesome.

The writing in Borderlands 2 was so good that it retroactively made the writing in Borderlands 1 seem better (and the BL1 DLCs were uniformly entertaining)

You're no the only one...

Is this solo only? Or is there going to be a co-op multi-player mode? Because half the fun of Borderlands was playing with a friend!

It's also useful if you're using Windows 8.1 in a windowed VM or Remote Desktop session. Hitting those corners in that case is ... difficult.

This is a tangent, but it fixes the biggest annoyance I have with the taskbar, and works for all versions of Windows 7 (which introduced the problem) and 8 (which didn't fix it OR make this setting available in the UI).

In reality, ONE party (the Republicans) shoulder way more of the responsibility/blame than the other (like, 80/20 split). It's safe to just round up and blame the GOP at this point, because you will not be wrong doing so. Saying "both parties" without any disclaimers is generating a false equivalency and is

Here's the thing: I don't play games to be beaten down and frustrated and made to feel inadequate and a loser. I get enough of that in real life.

Honestly I never finished Episode 2 ... I got stuck at some point, and never got back to it. And now I'm kind of glad. Having Episode 3 (which has been promised for a decade) come out would motivate me to pick it back up and finish it. Ditto an actual Half-Life 3. But at this point, I'm not holding my breath.

I will never understand people who actually liked that ugly obnoxious "blade" interface... ugh.

Yeah, you can plug in an external drive, but it should be noted that's not supported at release (support coming soon). I'd still like to have a 2TB version with a cable-card slot... I think that would rule. If they could manage to make it out-Tivo TIVO, even better.

So here's the thing. Clearly neither box/platform was shipped "completely finished", and I'd wager all the churn in the last 9 months or so over the Xbox One policies and such means that it's "less finished".

...but why the hell would I want a crappy PS2?

Thanks! Good to know! (I won't be picking up an XOne until spring most likely... at least not before TitanFall comes out)

This.

iTunes has always sucked rocks... horrible software with a horrible UI. Though the latest revisions are better, it was so bad for so long (and I abandoned it all a year ago before the latest version came out) that there's no way I'd trust it or go back to it.

You're right. It had absolutely nothing to do with that (I run top of the line gaming rigs, and ran Win7 from the moment it was available).

iTunes on windows sucks, is horrible, and should be blamed first before anything else. My experience with iTunes was so bad it made me leave Apple products entirely (so I could uninstall all their iTunes/QuickTime shit) and I've been much happier with much more stable systems ever since.

My company actually had a horrible experience with Lenovo desktop workstations, and went back to Dell after so many problems and issues.
