Panorda on WP8 is arguably the best Pandora experience on any phone right now. And XBox Music with XBox Music Pass is, at least in the US and a few other countries, pretty unbeatable as well.

I think you're misunderstanding the "stopping support for WP8" notification. Anyone running WP8 will be upgrading to the next version (currently code-named "Windows Phone Blue") within the next 9 months or so. It's sad you made a decision like that based on completely flawed/wrong information and understanding.

I switched from iOS to WP8. I would not go back at this point.

I loved the RCT games... all of them (though RCT1+LoopyLandscapes hit a sweet spot for me). I wish there was RCT4 in the pipeline too...

Snipping tool doesn't help in any way with animated GIFs or video. It can't eve capture drop-down/fly-out menus or tool-tips, or anything else that disappears once it loses focus.
