Yes, really. I mean, I'm sure they COULD offer a bundle, but that would just complicate their stocking issues... for the record, people could by this with the intention of using their existing USB or Bluetooth keyboards. Did you think of that?

I have used a surface in my lap just fine. It's a BIT awkward if you're trying to type on the touch cover, but it is certainly doable. In fact, I like it better than the iPad, because the kick-stand DOES help. No, it's not super sturdy... but does it really need to be?
