Good point. But at least that kind of thing happens rarely, instead of every year the day after Thanksgiving.

Seriously, how hard is it to stay home on Black Friday? How desperately do you need to save money? How demanding are your friends and family about what they get? Can you not bake them some cookies? How about books? No one gets seriously hurt in a bookstore. Also, the big profits here are for the corporations.

So torn. On the one hand, do not want to contribute to Bush library. On the other hand, is the ornament breakable? I would love to smash on pavement.

Yes. That was my thought, too. The sheer obvious reaching of the tabloids makes me sympathetic to people I otherwise would never care about.

I love temporary tattoos, but these are too comical for Jane. They should look like miniature paintings and have quotes in a reproduction of her actual handwriting.

Having taught at a (redacted) college for a number of years, I think this is actually a sincere apology from a student who is very young, and sees the pressure of time management as overwhelming. There is no excuse for what he did; of course he knew it was wrong to cheat, and he deserves the consequences. But if you

Cannot believe this is anything but a hilarious parody.

Not saying that the story is not true in all particulars, because I haven't done the research, but is the Daily Mail known for its journalistic probity? I'm thinking not.

It doesn't matter.. be kind but firm in your beliefs. I taught English, and managed to bring in history,

I hope and trust that you will get/are getting many times more messages of support than of hate. You are a role model for women of all ages.

Just one more voice to add how brave and appreciated you are.

Look up Vandana Shiva on Wikipedia. Watch her on Youtube and see what she has to say about Monsanto and GMOs. I heard her speak in person a couple of years ago about the suicides of Indian farmers, and about the number of lobbyists Monsanto employs to exercise their freedom to influence at the U.N. Sincerely hope

It's definitely the wording of the article, as you point out. Reminds me of Rita Skeeter, the reporter in Harry Potter.
