There’s a big difference between being disappointed in a game and being hysterical. Sinking the better part of 3 days into a game and then expecting to get your money back is ridiculous.

Telling a phone to do something is even worse than a continuous conversation because people tend to pay attention to the phone to make sure the command went through. Mileage will vary based on the task: I imagine dictating a text is much more distracting than commanding the phone to skip a song.

Think about where the other two strings came from.

Yes. Talking to someone on the phone (hands free or not) is also more distracting than talking to someone else in the car with you because your brain has to do extra work modeling the other participant in the conversation.

Hands free operation has been shown to be dangerously distracting as well.
