I doubt this is possible with a living model. Photography is what makes it possible to have a model that remains still enough to capture the incredibly small details. We probably would have much better idea of historical figures’ appearances via portraiture through the ages if it were easy to do with a living model.

Well, it’s not necessarily something developers have to do— Virtual Desktop has shown that just making the desktop accessible using HMDs is a compelling experience. It’s ridiculous that Oculus and Vive don’t have native support for viewing the desktop and running non-VR programs.

Every so often I do a re-read of the Wiki page on the “ton” unit, and every time I’m surprised all over again how many different things it can mean.

Honestly, I’ve never been able to find a glove that felt as good or right as the glove I played with in little league. I kept using that thing even after it was way too small for my hands and every catch was basically a palm catch.
