@Michael Dukakis: there's a quiet, satisfying joy in holding a cat by the scruff.

Thank goodness that was a link to the original article. I was thinking it was going to be further guidance on the "correct response" to seeing the image...

Two things I suppose I should point out: unemployment is 10%

Only 3 playable heroes? Hello unintentional spoilers!

@pandafresh: I'm sure @tim rogers doesn't always start out with the INTENTION to x2 Crit Wall of Text. There's just always so much more to say.

@ghost4: Argument protip: leading a response with commentary about how little you respect the author, his or her opinions, or his or her execution does NOT improve the quality of your own argument, nor does it increase the likelihood that you will persuade anyone to your viewpoint.

@dracosummoner: Yeah, i think an Illusion developer stated in an interview once that it was supposed to be a play on "replay"

@League of Extraordinary Creepy Otaku: How about this hypothetical: suppose we could and did compile all the potentially criminal sexual encounters in the US and in Japan into brief summaries (that are assumed to be accurate representations of the events). You could also do this without using actual events, but

@comics0026: I'm toeing a very dangerous line here, but I wonder to what degree rape and sexual harrassment are actually falsely reported in Western countries?

@Hedgeworth: the female characters portrayed in the game are a mother and her two daughters, one of which is almost certainly below the age of consent in Japan... so I can see the argument there somewhat.

As compelling as those reported rape statistics are, they don't really tell the cultural story. The concept of what constitutes rape and what does not is significantly blurred by the social mores of each culture.

@Taggart6: Spider-girl was fun, and I liked the series a lot. Unfortunately, it was the longest running of the MC2 properties, and it's been killed or almost killed more times than any given combination of Joss Whedon shows.

My only issue here is that I'm SO done with D-Pad control.

@geiko: Eh, Gun had decent enough horse simulation, but Shadow takes the prize for the simple fact that Agro actually moved on his own.

Is it just me, or have several recent stories painted a subtly terrifying picture of the man? No remorse at murdering a digital innocent, Sid as favorite Toy Story character.

That is, bar none, the most TERRIFYING picture of Mark Hamill I've ever seen. And have you seen what he looks like now?

@VincentGrey: You're wrong, give these games a chance.
