The future is getting closer to us each day.

Its not like the statement is any less true.

Geology is the study of the Earth, specifiically rocks and plate tectonics.

I am pleased by this news. Though it is yet another game that Valve releases that isn't that *one*. These have all been great games, excellent even. From some of the best multiplayer to the best singleplayer.

All PCs will be obsolete in 5 years. Moore's law you know. Hell, a good computer takes that long to become obsolete.

"A steam release" from what it sounded like almost made me think that it would be steam exclusive. Maybe the steam version get download with added updates at launch to fix a few things.

You can easily use a 360 controller if you take a bit of time to map it correctly if it doesn't have the feature already available.

Everybody knows that this happens to everything all the time.

I really like the art of this image, reminds me of that game on the PS3 soon, Love I think its called? Its one in the desert made by Flow and Flower creators. Almost like a mix of creative indie style graphics on the scale of a AAA game.

You are ridiculous. There are plenty more factors going on than just those two things. I agree with the your statements of the intent of each game, CoD on arcade BF on sim, but your two initial points are a bit of an over exaggeration. Quite honestly, the market that CoD sells to probably doesn't even know there is

What is real and what a person thinks is real tend to be two different things. Some times people know that, but they want the lack of realism because its more exciting and fun.

Is it really that big of a deal for RAID 5? I mean I backup to a NAS for everything anyway.

OH, I didn't know that mattered.

i5 overclocked to 4.5 ghz

Yeah, I guess I'll have to agree with that. Even as much as I play the games I do now, anything new is interesting to me and worth a look. It doesn't take much to at least watch some trailers or game-play, maybe a review or two.
