A hundred times I would upvote that if I could. Biting humor is the best.

According to the Janesville, WI traffic code (where the video appears to be recorded)No person shall park a vehicle in any limited parking zone for a longer period of time than is so specified.” It appears that the limit applies to the parking zone, not the spot. So, if they enforce the law how it is written you

I know here (Richmond, VA) I got a parking ticket because although I moved my car to a different spot like 2 spots up, the rule is it has to move at least 500 feet from the original spot or you’re still in violation of parking more than 2 hours. I guess this is to enforce the spirit of the law (which is to keep

In Montreal we had alternate side parking, had to get up at 530 and move the car to the other side of the street- got to see all your neighbors in their jammies

^^This guy has never driven a porsche before. What a completely idiotic comment!

Relax, they’re foglights.

A solid point. Here’s a story I wrote a while back describing how this all works. The EPA does audit some cars (10-15 percent is what I’ve heard—I wouldn’t be surprised if the figure were higher on diesels post-dieselgate), but yes, the testing is generally on the automakers.

If you are curious, here were the alternate headlines:

Not gonna lie, the t-tops immediately made me think of this:

I do not understand your complaint.

Ya, seems like a glaring error.  I mean, it’s not the same plane coming back the next day.  Send 1 747 off for it’s C/D check Monday, the one coming back online flies home Tuesday...It’s like asking why this empty bus is driving to the service centre...

Sounds like you need to get a little further out of LA county? We camp in the desert for free all the time...

This was lap #2 out of 3 total. The brakes couldn’t stop the car, at all, so I pulled it in. No issues with overheating batteries or motor, and I did not do an easy warm up or cool down.

I did three laps. The pads couldn’t stop the car on the warm up lap. The video is lap #2.

Do you people really think we engineered a defeat device? Keep in mind we can hardly keep our interior trim from falling off once the car is over two years old.

That old Jalopnik article is misleading in that it says the 1969 one now has / had a 350 V8; the two Jerraris made for Bill Harrah actually originally had Ferrari 4.4 liter V12s. And the 1977 version, which still exists and is on display in Reno, looks like a stock 1977 Wagoneer from the outside, which is the better

All GMs are the same. Have been since at least 04.

This is perfect. I have an Accord with automatic lights but when someone (my mechanic or my wife) turns them off manually they stay that way and I don’t notice until dusk the next day when I am wondering why it seems so dark out. Once you get used to automatic lights you don’t even think about them anymore.

The Chevy Express vans we have at work do this. However, the newer ProMasters do not. I find my self driving in the dark or in the rain without them on lot.

My 2000 Grand Marquis has this. I use it. It even has a timer that leaves the headlights on for a while after turning the car off.
