What kind of sick idiot sells fake eclipse glasses? That’s just horrible to think about.

I think having a 300+ mile tangent isn’t super necessary for the people buying these new right now, which is really what’s allowing them to grow so fast. I mean, I know the Model S and Model X are more of an expensive luxury product, but everyone I know who has one also has another car. And I know at least a dousen…
There’s no way the Model 3 is going to break Tesla with anything short of some massive safety scandal with the design of the car that leads to loss of life. This is highly, highly unlikely from a company that has everything to loose, and even then Tesla is stockpiling cash to deal with anything that may crop up.
A lot of the nightmarishness comes from the fact that the third one is based on the first generation Panamera. The 1st gen sedan was nightmare fuel by itself.
Oh wow, I didn’t even know that the non-S Macan was sold in the US. I suppose even though they’re absolutely everywhere I never really notice the ones that aren’t Turbo or a brightly colored GTS.
I think more accurately people looking for a car like a boxter/cayman but less expensive would look at an Audi TTS, BMW Z4, or even BMW M235i/M240i. Frankly, the main competitor for a new cheaper Porsche would be a used Boxster though.
The way I see it I think a lot of (especially older people) would walk into the porsche dealer with the intention of buying a 911 but walk out with the keys to a new Panamera Coupe when they see how much more comfortable it is while still being very fast. For a lot of people buying it for the image, just having an…
I think the 3rd picture, which is also the only one based on the 1st gen Panamera, with a more obvious hatchback, looks the most like a 928. Copying the front end of the 928 on a modern car is nigh-impossible so the main features to simulate would be the side profile and the large hatchback. I suppose that the huge…
A Porsche below the Boxster? Is that a joke?
The rear seats in the Wraith don’t recline. The rear seats in the Ghost, however, do.
This looks like a case of either pedal confusion (pressing accelerator instead of brake) or being in reverse instead of drive.
I mean the article did say they bought it as an investment, and that it could perhaps be an investment for the next buyer. I’m just pointing out that it really didn’t work out for them as an investment. I’m not really sure how even they would define the “worth” of any money they lose at this point anyway.
The original MSRP for the Marauder was basically $35,000. I’m sure they spec’d theirs with some options so they probably paid more than that.
Do you guys have anything planned for Monterey car week this year?
The front of the camo’d car does remind me a lot of the Toyota 86, but I’m sure that will change once the wrap comes off.
