Fellow islander here (username checks out) - it used to be a lot worse. There are still pockets where people are outwardly aggressive racist asshats, but you’ll generally be fine in any town along a road-trip corridor.

Towns where you would be in genuine danger would be countable on your fingers and toes. Towns where you would be ignored / condescended to would be uncountable. Sorry for my fellow countrymen.
As a white dude in Canada, I don’t have much to say - since I really can’t know. But the ‘mid-west in Canada’ and the ‘mid-west’ in the US are pretty similar and my suspicion is that as long as you stay out of the backwater holes, you should be OK. Most major cities - and even large towns are pretty diverse.
Serious question:
This thing. (Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio) I saw one on the road in black the other day and it was stunning! Even better in person. Upon Googling it I found out we have had these things here in the states since 2017!!! 500+HP and looks this good too!
Yes I saw the video today too! So many of my questions about the cabrio were answered! Thank you Keon!
Doug Demuro uploaded a video on the RZ today, the trunk is the exact same as an SZ. The cargo area behind the seats is incredibly small and not separated from where the top stores.

No Tesla FanBoy but I am seriously curious on how Teslas actual own Roadster will be like performance wise if they ever end up making it:
OMG I missed this one as I had a busy day and couldnt post right away. I really think I could have got on the QOTD with it! The Mazda Cosmo: (If I am worthy can I get an honorary QOTD?)
Trying to understand the point you’re attempting to make

I understand your point, dont you need a special license and training to drive these Big Rigs as well as special insurance?
It was not a generic “Think of the children” statement, just that children are a vulnerable part of our society and there are laws and rules in society that protect them. Child seat laws, no passing a school bus when warning lights are on, child endangerment regulations and so on. I am not ONLY saying to think of the…
I understand your point and also prefer my freedom over regulation. However for your examples dont most if not all of them require a special license and insurance?
3 to 5? Imagine a line from the driver’s eyes past the front of the hood to the ground, and then think of what would fit in the triangle in front of the vehicle.
Yeah, I’m sure these Texan’s would be happy to comply with whatever you think their car should conform to. Just like every time there’s a school shooting or whatever people go online to talk about how they’d happily give up their AR-15 if it would save a few lives.
