As a former NA Miata owner these 3 window plastic tops and some NOVUS plastic window cleaner was the BEST investment. I personally didn’t like the look but for daily driving it took away the blind spot which made driving in the rain a lot easier and made the car feel much more open with the top up.

That’s what I thought it was from the silver picture in the headline.

Is it me or does the front look like a first gen NSX?

Jalopnik’s see cars that that have their own huge subculture but is different then theirs, so instead of understand they naturally want to HATE on it... Post goes just Expected... News at 11.

Needs MOR VIP.

I remember when Maui Land & Pineapple shutdown they sold off all their Samauris and Sidekicks for $500 each...no extra charge for the crusted layers of red dirt! 😁

Geo Trackers with that “fastback” soft top and a body kit was the BOMB! back in the day. Growing up here in Hawaii they were perfect, soft top targa, compact. They looked so cool and you could get them cheap used after a couple of years since they rented them out to tourists!

Bitchin'

Great article and video! I have not heard the wordssouped up” in such a long time! Does anyone even use this term anymore, for example in the hot rod community? I wonder what other car slang kind of got forgotten due to modern cars and computers

Mine (CJ-7) cruises down the highway pretty well. 35" tires, 2.5" suspension lift, 1" body lift.

It’s not terrible as long as you get up the suspension correctly.

entirely depends on if you upgrade the steering system as well. if you do, its not bad at all, if you just lift it and use stock steering, not so good

How is it to drive these type of raised jeeps on the freeway and such. I always wondered how they perform with the raised height and big tires.

Rumor has it that the motor mounts for the new Supra line up with the 2Jz motor.

Might as well go all the way. Need MOR TAILFINS

I spent a few days in a rental. Interior quality is improved from the previous gen but still very utilitarian. Performance is ok, but the stock tires still have very little grip. Steering is a bit soft but pretty linear. I daily a 3 series and in comparison, the Mustang had less low end torque but much nicer exhaust.

I’ve been in a rental one recently and it was lovely. Interior materials were nice and it felt very substantial. Ford quality these days is pretty good, certainly miles better than GM. (I’ve been in a 2016 Mustang and a 2016 Impala, and the Impala’s interior felt like some kind of dollar-store knockoff by comparison.)

Does anyone know if these 2016 mustang’s with the V6 (Not GT) are any good? Here in Hawaii they use the convertible versions as rentals and lots of them go up for sale cheap with low miles. Locals tend not to buy them because of the “tourist” association. But I have been tempted to get one, just dont know how much

Now playing

IDK I thought Hot Wheels branded Battle Force 5 was pretty good. I would watch a movie about it.
