Good. Next!

I have a WRX and I think it's just super, does that count?

What you see above called the Ferrari 488 GTB is a complex machine with hundreds (if not thousands) of plastic, gaskets, bolts and metal bits put together by hand (in some of the process) to contain small individual explosions netting maybe 30% of the total power of its fuel source (Gasoline) with a huge heat waste. Close very close, but the headlights are more FRS and the side fog light grills more Mazda (last gen NC Miata). LOL ;)

I know it Audis philosophy (intentional or not) to make all their cars look the same but this really does look like a big Audi TT from the front:

I had a set of those flush lights, they were horrible because they were set in the body you get light directly in front and nothing to the sides.

Lol that's a little too close for comfort there

Hmmm inspiration?

When I had my NA two companies Midtenn and Brainstorm sold flush headlight kits to replace the popups. They for the most part ran into three issues. 1) Due to the angle of the hood and space for the lights the "light output" was not very good as it only had a small area to project from. and 2) The plastic clear

I saw a Storm last fall. It's probably the first one I had seen in at least 5 years.

I use the slot for a smartphone mount!

The problem is the Osprey's development was so fraught with problems and HIDING of more problems that you have to wonder just how really 'reliable' it's going to be.

No matter how much I see the proof that the Ospreys are now "reliable" they are just to complicated for me to trust. The main control surfaces and engines are on a part that moves constantly giving it no "backup" in case of failure. At least with a plane you can somewhat glide if an engine fails or in a helicopter you

So, what is the point of the reed valve, exactly?

Question: Aren't these the ones with the bio-degrading wiring harnesses that deteriorate and cause all sorts of electrical faults? Or was it the generation before these? If so how easy of a fix was this? These are getting pretty cheap and tempting.

Those advantages alone are enough convince me that manned fighter aircraft are (as unromantic an idea as it is) obsolete. And of course, there are other advantages too. Unmanned aircraft have almost unlimited endurance: 300 straight hours of enforcing a no-fly zone? No problem. They don't have the size requirement

Sure, but I think we'll see "optionally manned" fighter aircraft before we'll see fully unmanned fighters. Dog fighting may be a little further out as the tactics involved will have to change. Right now an aircraft like the F-16 is limited to maneuvers that a human pilot can handle. Eliminating the human from the
