I actually posted the Supra on the actual Jalopnik.com site yet @owen_bellwood choose someone who suggested it on Twitter and didnt even give me credit even with 24 recommendations. At least joint “suggested by:”. I like Jalopnik but if I am going to participate at least make it so voices are heard.

I understand and respect your perspective NeutronStar73 and agree with it, especially the different camps. I was also in the “scene” at the time. From my viewpoint even those with money didnt pick the supra as their first choice, if they did have the money it was either a 300ZX (with lots of JDM mods) or it was a BMW

*Typo meant 3000GT.

4th Gen Supra. During its time known as a heavy GT (Grand Touring) car and mostly overlooked compared to the FD and NSX and some may even say GT3000 at the time. Only when they got more affordable and you started seeing 1000HP tunes did they start picking up in value and people started wanting them. F&F fame also

Any insight into why there are no main stream convertible EVs? Both roadsters or 4 seaters/BMW 4 series/Audi A5 cabrio types? One thought I have is that maybe since the batteries are so heavy the “roll over” test with the windshield frame would fail? Any thoughts?

Same no convertible yet.

The CR-Z came out in 2010 in Japan and the reception was really bad from most everyone due to the Hybrid powertrain that was not sporty nor saved on gas that much and most people just really wanted (and was hoping for) an updated standard/Normal CRX. Then they doubled down on this Hybrid tech in 2016 with the 2nd Gen

The new Acura Integra. If you know, you know.

I guess? I think more like playing/crawling/sitting in the driveway or smaller kids walking in front of cars at stoplights etc? IDK.

This article really relates to me as I have been seriously considering a new 2023 Miata RF and the size of cars around me is pretty scary since they are mostly SUVs. Even compared to CUVs like Rav4s or CRVs the Miata is pretty small and low. I am not even sure if they can see it if in a blind spot. I drive on the

Not technically “vintage” but am torn on how these “art and science” cars have aged. I like them in a way I kind of like retro games like Mario and Donkey Kong but not sure if I want to daily them...

I always feel its a bit unfair for us Hawaii people because by the time we wake up to see the post to comment there are already 100+ comments before us. I hope this gets read. The best headlight design (and maybe ONE of the most expensive) is the Bentley Flying Spur “Crystal” Headlights.

Any used Nissan Leaf experts out there? There is a 2011 for sale with 10 bars of battery on it for 6K near me. Its tempting since I heard 10 out of 12 bars isnt bad. However I also heard to stay away from 2011 to 2014 Leafs because of the substandard battery. Just not sure if I should even consider this one...

This is also coming soon. But its a GM so take it as you will:

I kind of miss these “Un-Pimp” your ride VW commercials. They are like a time capsule when most everyone pimped out their civic or accord with huge body kits and wings and crazy actual paint jobs.

I like the direction Hyundai and Kia are going with their cars. The Ioniq 5 and EV6 are unique and compelling designs. If I may ask do you feel the Hyundai negative “stigma” of not being up to par with Toyota, Nissan and Honda is gone and they are now equals?

Maybe a topic for a future article. Is there a conspiracy here where all the great looking cars always tend to have issues with reliability. Mazda has made some Awesome looking cars in its time FD, Furai yet they have the rotary which is good but needs a bit more care than other cars and speciality knowledge to

So is the SL55 a Supercar? Rare, 2 seats, Fast for the time. Not mid engine though.
