Any car with these because it was on every and ANYTHING in the 80's:
This still holds up today I think. Kind of timeless with the unique "slab" design. They could release this tomorrow as a new "design" and no one would blink an eye.
I kind of like it in a Mazda Cosmo kind of way.
Can anyone tell me how bad the SMG is in real life?? I read a few horror stories online but as with most reviews online you mostly hear just the bad. There is a E46 M3 Convertible here that I REALLY want but its a SMG. How bad is the SMG really?? Do they break as often and are as difficult to fix as they say?
Has anyone noticed it is a Bentley? I was with my friend the other day (non car enthusiast but knows the difference between a Honda and Toyota just not model names) and we saw a Continental GT convertible and she had no idea what it was (as if she would have cared if I didn't point it out to her) or how expensive it…
Do people consider a propeller plane a "jet"? According to the Wiki its history comes from this plane http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_91_S… Can they really say "Born from Jets?" When its a propeller plane? Or is that just marketing hype?
I like this, they made good cars especially the impulse. AWD 4 banger Turbo. Very under appreciated in its time.
But the people who were at Mercury made that FWD convertible Capri. Do you really want cars like that again?
Question: Most of these continental convertibles the trunk is so huge it takes up most of the back of the car (take a look at the view of it from the top) but when you open the trunk its shallow and small. Is that because the convertible top takes up most of the space or is it just bad design?
What about the Z4 wouldnt that be more classic and timeless as a roadster?
Due to safety regulations can cars like the MR2, S2000 and Gen 1 (NA) Miata still be made today? BTW I LOVE The MR2 too bad the MRS didnt sell as well I think mainly due to its styling.
Was Saab really engineered from Jets? Or was that just a whole marketing thing? Like did they get jet engineers and say "build a car" and they did aerodynamic studies, cockpit layout etc to make it like a jet?
WTF No Hawaii! When will the rest of the world realize we are actually the 50th state! No we are NOT International and we are NOT a Territory but the 50th STATE in the UNION. You will be surprised at how many people (yes even on the mainland USA) think we are a territory or another country. We have all the exotics…
Fiat 500.
