Well..I guess I didn't consider that this really is completely stand alone. But if you already have an HD tv, you could get a Roku box and run the Pandora app. You can get one of those for ~$60. A Raspberry Pi is $35 for just the unit...after you get the power supply, sd card, and other stuff you would need to build…

I would guess no, because I don't think there is a Spotify client out for linux yet. But then again I'm not aware of a lot of stuff on linux. I'd start by looking into that.

There are many many other options that would end up being equal to this or cheaper in cost. Cool, for the novelty.

TLDR buuut all I want to know is, if I have this app and click a google maps address link in safari will it automatically launch the app? Worst part about Apple maps, it made direction links completely useless.

You're really tempting me Kif. But I'm in the same boat as you and just bought myself a new 55" Samsung for Christmas, and still haven't finished shopping for others...so I think I need to wait it out. Hopefully my XTi sells for...something that will help me get a T4i before vacation in Feb.

Aaaah! I've got my old Canon XTi on eBay right now to get some extra cash to buy a T4i...Do I buy one for this price with funds I shouldn't or wait for the item to sell and hope to find it for a similar price down the road. I've seen them going a lot for under 700 with a lens.
