I mainly pirated imports and emulators. I definitely bought my share of games and additional hardware. But yeah, it probably did not help. That was right when highspeed internet was becoming common in households.

I bought a Dreamcast. One of the funnest consoles ever. Free games. Tons of emulators. Free online multiplayer via Netzero. Chu Chu Rockets.
