Are the mkvs stored on your computer or phone. If on the computer serviio will transcode them, and you can watch them on the 360 through the my videos(can't actually remember what it's called but press the guide button and go over to the right one) through the chromecast allcast will play videos from your serviio…

It's not technically hidden. It's the same page that the chromecast app takes you too to find supported apps. It's nice they have a link right in the store now though. Before you could only get to it through the chromecast app or their website
