It’s hard to spend $7 on eggs, even when it doesn’t make a huge difference to my budget. But I have been buying what my wife sometimes refers to as “designer” eggs for a long time.

Well, not really, no.

Would love another crack at Xenogears. I could never beat the final boss no matter how much grinding I did. Probably missed some fundamental strategy or something. I doubt I could ever find time to replay it... I’d probably MAKE time if somehow the last disc got turned into a proper game. :D

I’m a big fan of Macbooks (been developing on them for a long time) over anything else. Hell, I prefer my Chromebook to any Windows environment. But I detest the rest of the Apple ecosystem. I’ve carried iPhones occasionally, and used Apple TVs at friends’ houses, and I just do not get why people celebrate these

Now playing

If we’re loading up in the “Way Back Machine” then I’m dropping Murumasa: The Demon Blade. Which I played the hell out of, and needs the HD treatment on Switch.

LOVED Dust, too.

I may need to dig out my Wii stuff, then my XBox360 stuff.

I know exactly what’s under my oven... and I don’t want to move it. :/

Yup, those games are oozing with Judaeo-Christian lore and themes.

Also, don’t leave sweaty workout clothes in your car (or workout gloves if you’re out there in the rain/snow). If you do, you’re going to be defrosting inside AND out... It sucks.

Everything with electronic controls should do this. Some systems will let you turn off the AC when the windshield vent is on, but that wouldn’t be very helpful...

My demo movie for new equipment changed to Gladiator in the mid 00's.

Thought it was kinda obvious myself. I haven’t watched Top Gun recently, but being raised by the 80s and 90s, we used to watch Top Gun (perhaps too) frequently. Got a new set of sweet bookshelf speakers? Pop in the Top Gun VHS to test them out!

Surround sound?! Get the Top Gun DVD!

So when I sat down to play Mass Effect

I have the 32GB M1 Max (for work). As a software dev, it presents conveniences where they weren’t before. Lots of containers running, bigger IDE footprint is available (AWS libraries are MASSIVE and cost a lot to index). My previous machine had 16GB and I kept bumping up against the top of my resource pool. I could

Coiled electric stoves (glass top or otherwise) just suck. I’ve used exposed coil and the fancier ceramic/glass tops, too, and the only difference is that the smooth tops make it far easier to clean. Heat has to physical transfer from metal to metal, or metal to ceramic to metal, and a LOT of that heat is lost in the

Obligatory

I maintain that H:ZD and any sequels are simply the origins of the entire Pokemon series.

Sorta the fever dream of most of the kids I knew in the mid-90's. “What if Contra were ninja ROBOTS that stole boss enemy powers like in Mega Man?!”

Going to try that with the bourbon some guests left here. Mmmm

No joke. The medium in which the candy floats is rather important. If it’s odd, oily flour residue, it’s just chocolate covering odd, oily flour residue.

Garmin has been doing this for years. My fenix 6 has a map built in of every run/hike/bike that I can add to my workout screens if I want it. Helps when hiking trails that see little/no traffic or when running in an unfamiliar city. Pretty sure the 5's and most of the Forerunners do this too.

I love me some Trigun and I will be checking this out. Going to miss Millie, though.
