Just beat it in my 29th go with the bow. The special was so buffed that it’s special tore through most enemies in one or two charges. A few of them are below, but basically the below along with a few other buffs were generally stacking to over 600 without being a properly charged (who has time for that?) point-blank

We do this every Monday and Thursday. 45 minutes. 3.5+ miles. Stopping every .25 to .5 miles for something absurd like 75m of bear crawls or 10 burpees (or worse). I love... when I'm out of the shower and I can think that I did itand it's over. For a few days...

Yawn...

Before the pandemic we only ever used to walk through GS when the kids’ ability to behave in public was burned off. Let them pick out some random clearance funko pop on occasion, maybe a blind bag. But we rarely bought anything full price.  I tell ya, I’ve not been to the mall for six months and I really like it that

Ooof, I as going to preorder the PS5 for the new Horizon. But it’s not a launch title anymore, so, whatever.

Sounds like the coffee shop epidemic of the mid 2000's. I remember a shopping area in MN where you can walk to five *$’s in just over a mile and a half (as the bird flies, yeah). Now it’s four because the B&N replaced the starbucks with their own coffee shop.

Come to think of it, I can think of some locations where I

Now playing

I let nightcore play while I worked for a while. I never knew I was listening to nightcore until just now. But I had to stop when it seemed like the only thing I was getting was the high-pitch original voices...

A few weeks later (relatively recently, actually), my son listened to this track about 12 times in a row. I

I started running serious miles just before the pandemic. Very quickly hit the 3-5 mile range on every run. I’m down to sub a 30m 5k, provided there aren’t absurd hills about... There are always absurd hills. Every 5k run around my house is 200-300' of elevation. If I could get my weight down (bmi hovers between

Were people not doing things this way all along? Man, that must suck. Chicken in a Biscuit can be enjoyed no other way!

Don’t know how, but we got ahold of the NES version of Strider and played the shit out of it. The game was futuristic, had a badass samurai (despite the sprites for his running looking utterly ridiculous). The sound effects and BGM were chaotic. The intro blew us away.

Parchment paper for the win. 200ºF for ~30 minutes for thick bacon. Then 3ish minutes with the broiler on to finish it off.

I don’t much care for crispy bacon.  I just like the edges done.

I used foil for a long time, but found parchment paper to be a much better alternative. It’s harder to pierce, for one, but it’s also cheaper.

I buy thick bacon almost exclusively. It goes in the oven at 200ºF for, oh, 30-45 minutes. About 3 minutes before I’m ready for it I turn on the broiler and sear the tops/edges.

Gboard always guesses the wrong word for of/if and on/in. ALWAYS. Doesn’t matter what I do...

And it pretty frequently just won’t accept swyping input for 2-3 words before it remembers that’s the only reason I use it. Probably time to switch.

Everyone knows that wireless chargers are slower and inefficient. I stick them around my house because my wife and kids ruin cords and charging ports. It’s borderline malicious. If I need a quick charge I’ll plug something into a 3.0 charger or whatever, but for the most part I’m tired of buying new USBC cables.

Burpee sandbag 100M. BRUTAL

I’m a fan of the gear from Brute Force and GoRuck. Yes, it’s more expensive, but I’ve beaten the living crap out of my gear and my ruck, dragged it down the street, dropped it a thousand times and never had a problem with any of it. They’re all using essentially the same materials so it comes down to how well things

I detested the sport trac. One of the ugliest vehicles on the road. Couldn’t safely hold more than an explorer. This thing, as-is, is a miserable waste of time

My home desk has a wireless charging stand. Monitors are on a riser, laptop on a stand that can change height. An LED lamp for bias lighting. Cables required to drive everything. That’s it.

For 2D, it’s hard for me to decide between Super Castlevania IV and Super Metroid. So those can be tied for 1st place.

For 3D platformers, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Tight controls, excellent puzzles, good story. I like playing it and I’d go back to it. 3rd place.

I’ve never been able to get into a Mario

I genuinely preferred SMB2 to 3.
