Would have worked on my high school vehicles
20 years ago I drove an 84 Chev Celebrity. It was a rusted out hulk. It was so bad that if I locked the keys in the car, all I had to do was reach into the door and pull the locking mechanism. The car was fine and pretty comfy for bench seats up front.
Always bring an extra card. Something nice. Elegant. Flowery. All that. Doesn’t have to cost more than a few bucks, though. Don’t put your name on it, either. DO throw in a few pamphlets on various STDs (the older the better).
Most newer homes (80s+) SHOULD be wired just fine for this sort of thing. I’ve replaced a lot of switches with dimmers and incandescents with LEDs at my house. I’d be really sad if I couldn’t go LED and use dimmers. I mean, nothing is worse than walking into the bathroom and getting blinded by the light, as it were,…
I knew a guy in high school with a ~96 Geo Metro sedan. I was driving behind him in my dad’s truck during the tail end of a new, deep snow (Growing up in the sticks in the midwest, nobody heeded snow all that much). We were young and stupid and 50-60mph in 3-5" of snow seemed perfectly reasonable.
I think that originally the definition was any enclosed passenger vehicle that would be light truck if they hacked out the passenger area and put in a bed, that also happens to be on a light truck platform. Thus they are higher off the ground and use larger, heavier duty tires. E.G. A Dodge Durango is just an enclosed…
That was intense, man. My blood was pumping with ire for your mom the whole time I read it. Thank you for sharing.
And Mass Effect...
You’re no longer human!
With my first kid, I had to tap into FMLA to take some extra (non vacation) time off. I ended up working from his hospital room for almost 3 months while he grew out of his incubator and got to come home. FMLA ran out when he came home so I wasn’t even able to be there without risking my job for more than a couple…
Winston, Schmidt and eventually Aly really made that show. I stopped caring what happened to Nick about half way through the first season. He’s funny, only in seasons one, six, and seven. The entire Reagan arc was trash, though.
Raegan and Nick deserve to be on the bottom together...
Beyond ‘regular’ wikipedia, you could burn a LOT Of time over at the various imaginary world wikis over at wikia.com. Want to know EVERYTHING about the Star Wars Expanded Universe (old and new). Hit this up and be gone for a half a day looking up a few side characters.
Perhaps
wealth = zero payments + all needs met
My family worked very hard to get to the “no debt” line, which we’ve climbed above only very recently. That isn’t to say we don’t have payments. We have car and home payments, for sure. The home has enough equity to cancel out the car payments. But if we had to liquidate…
Sage advice from a dear old friend.
Not to nitpick, but the trilogy actually looks WORSE than the GCN games. They pulled out a lot of stuff to make them all fit.
I honestly don’t remember load times being a problem and I played this one a lot. Loved GX.
