Gotta get the kids off to school, that counts, I suppose.

This game is already in 3D, so HOPEFULLY they’d just reskin it with HD textures and give out more polygons? Maybe? No? Yeah, they’ll fuck it up, too..

Crud, those carts are already sold out.

Tends to break some of the tools I use, too, so I don’t update until I HAVE to. The new file system may save me a couple hours over the life of my laptop, but it’s not worth the time I’ll lose by not having access to my tools.

Yes. This. I started on the old Commodore 64 and Intellivision. Then the NES and on. I’m fine with SOME pixel art, but it has to be good. But look at Battle Chasers and Banner Saga. These were really well done independent games that didn’t default to pixels and are great.

It seems to be the thing to do if you have an Indy game. It can be very charming, it really can. I’m sure that some games will continue to be just right for pixel art style. I really enjoy fun and beautiful sprite art. I still love FFVI’s original sprite art. I’m just hoping people stop leaning on it quite as often.

RLEIAPASWPIAKF should be fun to pronounce. Sounds like we’re going to have to use it, though. :D

Maybe this one is RLEPAHS. Rogue Like Elements Pixel Art Hack & Slash.

Ugh, the damned replacing of the power connection. I want to believe that it eliminated some kind of circuit set that was preventing the laptop from getting so ridiculously thin or something, but even then, I honestly would rather have a slightly thicker laptop with more functional ports (and not have to buy all new

Anyone else getting a little tired of the pixel-art game thing? I realize it’s cheaper than watercolor 2D and full 3D models, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be tired of it.

Wow, man. We got Legacy of the Wizard from some family member who pulled it off the shelf and figured “why not”. We got pretty far but never figured out what was going on fully. Might have to see that one beaten on Youtube some time.

Wait, POOCHY?

On US freeways (anywhere, really) if a trucker is trying to change lanes, you can flash your brights to say “It’s safe to change lanes in front of me, you have room, and I’m not going to be an asshole that tries to pass you at the last second!” and then a few seconds later, he or she may click on his or her flashers

I used to know a guy who constantly used the term “cotton pickin’” to describe things that were mild annoyances or worse. All the time.

I’d like to think that my wife could embrace the “hygge” if we really dove into it.

I’d move to one of those countries if my wife didn’t feel all SAD and whatnot...

Some kind of spaceship or something. I can’t exactly recall. I got the item that makes all the skull things move on their own and while it lets you into a few different areas, it makes everything tough as shit. Also there are some lasers.

I grabbed this game on a whim for my Switch. And it’s pretty good, but also very annoying. Annoying because you can’t remap the dammed keys. The “jump” is A and I can’t remember the last time I’ve played that key as jump. Fire is ‘X’ on top, which is, for me, the worst. This constantly trips me up. Also, cycling

My first long-term girlfriend, whom I was dating for almost a year broke up with me with no useful explanation. Four days earlier everything was pretty great, I thought. Well, we worked together (last time that ever happened) and that was tough. Since she decided she was done, I had a harder time of dealing with it

HUMMINAWHAAAA?

I’ll have to verify I have a neutral available at the sites I need, but I think the house is new enough that they should be present and capped everywhere (that’s thing, right?!).

These guys need to make a smart light switch. Preferably with dimming and fan control. I like their products, I don’t want to mix and match, and I haven’t yet bought into Google, Amazon, or Smart Things, etc. And until I do, I’d like one app to control all the things (and not to have to buy 3-5 bulbs per room)
