Got a Milwaukee cordless oscillator a couple years back for a project and they are awesome. They can make small, straight wood cuts without making a drill hole for a jigsaw, etc. Sanding is almost overkill with these, but it saves time on outside edges and corners where a bigger tool could potentially mangle your work.

Went with this guy. Glad I did. Still not the heft I’d like, but it’s solid and has some mass to it. If I had a blowtorch (I don’t), and some lead (fishing sinkers), and time (none of that) I’d consider putting another gram or two in the tip and barrel. Which might ruin the pen... but if it worked it’d be perfect.

I loathe shopping, but I’ll still go clothes shopping in person. Though if I know how well something should fit (because, say, I buy a specific kind of shirt from a specific maker), I’ll order it online when it’s a good deal.

Because they’ll package everything for you and/or there isn’t a locker big enough?

In my experience they get used to being dropped off after a while. Then at random times they’re really just distraught that you’re leaving anyways. And at other random times they’re distraught that you’ve deigned to recover them from their reverie.

Most likely when you’re 80 your skin will be in such bad condition (stretchy and wrinkly) that getting a clean, readable tattoo isn’t going to happen.

(*o*)

Having trouble finding them in 0.5mm tip. That’s a bust for me.

I’d use depleted uranium with ink inside if it weren’t for it being, y’know, still radioactive. Probably would keep the ink from freezing, though. :D

This is stupid. <adds to cart>

It’s been a long time, but I thought it was implied in other ways that it’d been a while since they’d seen each other. Either way, I think I’m going to grab this one. It was one of the better FFs.

Depends ENTIRELY on the application or role you’re in. I’ve had five monitors in the past as a systems admin/engineer. At five monitors I was able to work on three systems at once. Troubleshooting, collecting information, etc. The fourth screen was web/documentation, and the fifth screen (the laptop) was just email.

My 94 Accord was rated for something like 27, but I often got 33-35.

Thanks for the info. I’m not surprised that the 2006 PT Death Trap wouldn’t try to save gas for you, though.

Yeah, it’s fine once and then the novelty is off. And, for the record, I really hate “gastropub” as a word. Just say pub with good food. I know it takes longer, but it’s more expressive.

I’m going to be NO HELP, but...

Engine braking can really save your brakes and rotors on a long mountainous or hilly drive. Even if your super modern car doesn’t let you downshift, you probably have a “deactivate overdrive” button somewhere. Turn it on and all that air compression without extra fuel-burning expansion will keep your rotors nice and

How old are the cars you’re running? Or just list them. It’d be edifying to know which makes and models we should be wary of in the future for not managing our resources properly.

Some people recommend not using Neutral to coast in automatic vehicles. It’s not a problem for the gear shift, and won’t hurt anything. Unless you somehow manage to punch it into reverse. On modern cars, I hope this isn’t possible. In my 1984 Plymouth Horizon, however, you COULD switch it into R at 55mph, as a

I’m a fan of grammar correction. But when the it’s been corrected I re-read the article a time or two and say “WTF is this commenter talking about?!”
